Browne Jacobson hosts ‘Alternative Careers in Law’ event for Clapton Girls’ Academy students

This week, students from ROK partner school,Clapton Girls’ Academy had the opportunity to attend an exciting career event at the offices of top law firm, and ROK partner company, Browne Jacobson.

 The event, held on Tuesday 7 February, took place at Browne Jacobson's London offices and provided 25 students in years 12 and 13 with valuable insights into alternative careers to law within the firm.

Browne Jacobson professionals in business development and marketing, finance, HR, IT and more delivered engaging presentations about the important role they play in ensuring smooth operation of the firm, and the various routes into their respective careers. To top off the event, students also enjoyed lunch on the premises, kindly provided by Browne Jacobson.

Nikki Storey, careers lead at Clapton Girls Academy, welcomed the event as an opportunity to provide “a real insight into working in the city and a positive experience for students to realise that they could work towards a career there themselves”, while students described the day as “inspiring, informative and insightful”.
