ROK awarded social equity grant by the Slalom Foundation
13 December 2022
We are delighted to announce that ROK has been awarded a grant by the Slalom Foundation, the philanthropic arm of global consultancy firm Slalom, to further our ongoing work supporting young people from diverse and low-income backgrounds discover and achieve their career ambitions.
ROK is one of 11 organisations from around the world to receive a Social Equality Initiative (SEI) grant from the organisation. Launched by the Slalom Foundation in 2020, the SEI provides financial support to organisations around the world fighting racial discrimination and promoting social justice in their local communities.
Founder and CEO of ROK, Denise Stephenson, said: “We are truly honoured and humbled to receive a Social Equality Initiative grant from the Slalom Foundation. This funding will be pivotal in ensuring that we are able to continue our vital efforts to improve diversity, racial inclusion and social mobility through our work with schools and our partner companies.
“We know how committed the Slalom Foundation is to addressing racial and social inequality, and we are so pleased that they have recognised the impact of the work we at ROK are doing and have chosen to support us in such an impactful way.
“We would like to congratulate each of the other SEI grant recipients, and thank the Slalom Foundation once again for helping us to continue the amazing work that we do.”
