Reach Out 2 Kids (ROK) has teamed up with Innocent Drinks to launch a new mentoring programme which will see 10 students from Kensington Aldridge Academy in Ladbroke Grove, London, partnered with professionals from Innocent to gain an invaluable insight into the working world.
The partnership aims to guide and inspire the students, providing information about the range of career options open to them, with practical support such as CV-building and the development of vital skills, including public speaking.
Commenting, ROK founder and CEO Denise Stephenson said: "We are incredibly excited to have been chosen by Innocent Drinks to deliver this new mentoring project.
"This exciting initiative will enable ROK to deliver a new mentoring programme, reaching out to young people in a new area, with a new partner company, and for a new school.
"We are committed to ensuring that young people have access to the best opportunities and knowledgeable, experienced professionals who can really make a difference in their lives.
"We are so pleased that Innocent has chosen ROK to support their efforts to do more outreach in their local community through mentoring, and we look forward to seeing the programme go from strength to strength."
Innocent European managing director Nick Canney said: "ROK are doing an amazing job breaking down the barriers young people face at the start of their careers, so we’re really excited to be working with them and helping the next generation take their first steps into the world of work.
"This is a great way we can support our local community here in West London - I’m really proud of the passion our people have put into making this happen, and we’d love to see other local businesses getting involved with ROK’s work."
